Confederate Memorial Hall Engagement

I am so excited to share Tanner and Reganne’s elegant engagement at The Bleak House, in knoxville, TN. I had never shot at the Bleak House before, but was so stoked when Tanner and Reganne asked if we could. In fact, we all three loved it so much, that after their old Confederate Memorial Hall engagement session they booked the venue for their big day! We spent 2 amazing hours at this beautiful old civil war home creating pure magic.

The Bleak House

Located near downtown in the elegant and historic Sequoyah Hills neighborhood in Knoxville, TN . Built in the mid 1800’s, the Bleak House became a confederate headquarters during the seige of Knoxville. I find it amazing that a home that was built and gifted as a wedding gift, somehow survived the Civil war, and is now being used as a wedding venue to this day! Though the old Confederate Memorial Hall bears the scars of war, from bullet holes in the walls to chunks of brick missing from canon balls, This elegant engagement at the Bleak house could have not been more perfect!
