CIVIL WAR HOME PORTRAITS

Here lately I have been hitting an all out winning streak on portraits, but this stunning senior at the Bleak house hit it out of the park! I know I may be partial, but this stunning senior happens to be my beautiful baby sister, Lexi. Between her beauty and the ever wonderful Bleak House, I knew this would be a winning combination.

Lexi will be graduating from college soon, still not sure how that is possible, but I was honored to be able to catch these moments for her. They are memories that I will carry and cherish also, just like the ones I have of an annoying curly headed little girl. My sister has become one of the most independent women I know, as she should, because she comes from a long line of them.

I could not be more proud of her and can’t wait to capture more of these memories of her along her journey.

BACK TO OUR ROOTS AT THE OLD CONFEDERATE HOME

We decided for this shoot we needed to get back to our roots at the old confederate home. Since we were born and raised in God’s country, the south, and even more narrowed down to east Tennessee, this was important. My family takes pride in our heritage. We know our heritage made mistakes along the way, and maybe yours also, but we take pride in the relentless grit to make this country great!

We all believe in something. An ideology that sometimes we are willing to die for. Whether from the north or south, or across the sea we all fought, relentlessly, to get where we are today. The fight can be over now. We can all celebrate our heritage and lead peaceful fruitful lives.

However, if necessary, the south will rise again!
