Welcome to the Stinger Wedding!

I can feel myself improving with every wedding I put under my belt and this one was no different! I am so glad you decided to stop by and check out my latest wedding at the beautiful Happily Ever After Barn in Kodak, TN. The day started off cool, but ended on fire! Everything was perfect on this day and the wedding went off without a hitch.

Before the ceremony the wind was blowing and I thought it would be a great opportunity to get creative with the brides dress train. While I did ultimately achieve my goal, I also captured one of my top 5 favorite shots of the day. Bridesmaids on the run! As soon as you see the pic in the gallery you will know which one it is, and it is awesome!

Afterward came the intimate moment with a first look with the father of the bride. These things never really bothered me until a few months ago when we welcomed our daughter into the world. Now, anytime there is a first look or first dance with the father of the bride, I would be lying if I said I didn’t fight to keep it together. It hits me right in the feels…….. Anyway. Moving right along…..

The ceremony was perfect and I was so glad I was able to catch those solemn moments of the brides parents during the ceremony. After the ceremony the venue offered unlimited possibilities for shots with the bride and groom. My brain was on overload as to what to do, but I think we nailed the fun and intimate nature of this couple.

It’s party time!

Now, we are off to the reception! The bride and groom knew how to have a great time, so when they took to the dance floor everyone seemed to feed on their energy and it offered some killer photo opps. I try to always make it a point to used creative lighting at least once during a wedding. I love the art of photography as much as I love working with people. The barn made for a beautiful backdrop with colorful lighting.

All in all I had a blast working with and for this couple on the biggest day of their lives and I couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds for them!
